⚡Welcome to ZIG/ZAG/ZINES!⚡
We create and curate zines* related to neurodiversity, disability, and mental health/Madness.
Our pop-up zine library is based in the Forest of Dean in the South West UK, and includes lots of handmade/printed zines by various independent creators from around the world.
This page features some of our own (digital, printable) zines, as well as a selection of awesome zines, games, and other interactive media that align with the overall themes of our collection.
ZIG/ZAG/ZINES is part of the ZIG/ZAG Project, a neurodivergent-led, collaborative, non-profit organisation that exists to encourage curiosity, creativity, and connection around neurodiversity.
*Zines (pronounced "zeens") are independently produced, low/no-cost DIY publications. They can be about any subject and created in any style, typically within a format that allows fast, simple reproduction and small-scale distribution. They may be informative, creative, and/or subversive, and are often used by people from socially marginalised groups and communities to record and share ideas and stories.
Have fun exploring!
